At a time when nearly everyone has access to a decent camera and some editing software, no brand, artist or civilian is safe from being lampooned. As Weird Al once said, “By the time I’m in the studio recording my parody, 10,000 parodies of that song are on YouTube.” On the surface, these spoofs only intend to mock the original source material.
